When trying to understand the quality of our kids’ academic environment, Board member Marc Cooper shared publicly available data with sources the decline academic achievement of our reading, writing, and math scores and learning of our children in FMSD in the past 10+ years, along with asking how we as parents and community to help our children's test scores and academic learning improve?

Scores of the present year where the least surprising. The fact that our district had NO IMPROVEMENTS in test scores FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS really makes us wonder how our money is being spent to improve the academic cycles.  Below are the recent scores for our district:
